Bonjour Marie
I'm quite surprised that you see you can't find details about your grand-father. It's a well known case, as he and his crew were lost on D-Day, while spraying a smoke-screen over the landing beaches.
Sergent Roger Boissieux was the pilot of Boston OA-J of Groupe de Bombardement "Lorraine" (alias No 342 Squadron in the R.A.F.). He has no known grave as his navigator Bernard Canut. Only the wireless operator air gunner (from a little village near Arras, so not too far from my home) Jean Henson, was recovered from the Channel. He was buried first in Sainte-Mère l'Eglise, then in Bayeux, and his final resting place is in Duisans, his native village.
You should contact The Service Historique de l'Armée de l'Air, ask for Mr George-Didier ROHRBACHER, and I'm sure he will help you. You can also click on his name in the thread above
Hope this helps.
